With St. Patrick’s Day happening earlier in the week, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about luck and lucky symbols – horseshoes, clovers, rainbows, and more. I’m a firm believer that you make your own luck – especially when you’re running a business – by working hard and going after your goals. But still, it doesn’t hurt to encourage luck to come for a visit, right?
So this week, let’s think about that: Choose a lucky symbol to represent you and your business adventures. Make that symbol as a drawing, a sculpture, or a piece of jewelry. Then hang it up or keep it near you to invite luck to come to you – and as a reminder to work as hard as you can to find it.
As Benjamin Franklin said – “I’m a firm believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.”
